I'm trying to figure out how to watch a package in a Bugzilla. I work with a couple of open source projects, so I am part of upstream. Distributions often have bugzilla's, but I am not part of the distro's team. I have an account in the distro's bugzilla.
I visited the Bugzilla FAQ. Item A.2.3, Does Bugzilla allow the user to track multiple projects?, seems to indicate its possible, but I can't figure out how to do it:
Absolutely! You can track any number of Products that can each be composed of any number of Components.
I went through Bugzilla preferences, but I don't see a way to watch a package or project. The closest seems to be User Watching, but that misses the mark. For example, Gentoo Bug 597994 is against one of the packages I work with, but the Gentoo user [appears to be] [email protected]. [email protected] seems too broad since it appears to indicate I'll see reports for Botan, Crypto++, NSS, OpenSSL, PolarTLS, ...
How do I ensure I get automatically CC'd for all reports for a particular package in Bugzilla?
I was not sure the best fit for this question. Stack Overflow, Super User and Unix & Linux seemed to apply. Please let me know if I should flag it for migration.
